How to complain

We adhere to the highest journalistic standards and abide by the Editor’s Code of Practice laid out by the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO). We also recognise that mistakes do happen and we are committed to transparency and correcting any errors quickly and fairly.

If you feel that we have made a factual error in one of our articles or fallen below the standards laid out in the Editor’s Code then email us at editors@edinburghinquirer.co.uk. Please include your name and contact details (telephone and email), the url of the article you wish to complain about and specific details of what you believe to be inaccurate or where you believe we have broken the Editor’s Code.

We will aim to get back to you in the first instance within at most three days and where appropriate to publish a correction within a week of establishing that an error has occurred.
