Holding the developers to account is not "provincial complacency": this is the capital of Scotland's councillors fulfilling their mandate to consider the benefits (including economic) of this infrastructure. So far, it seems to benefit a small number of people. Begbie has 'social inclusion' in his career and I wonder how inclusive it is to build a polluting, loud AI data centre next to a nursery.
