There is a growing sense of confidence about Edinburgh’s trams.

Lord Hardie’s inquiry may be about to publish its long-awaited report into the botched construction of the original airport-to-city centre line, but almost no one is talking about it.

All the tram talk in Edinburgh’s corridors of power is about expansion and integration. The aim is to completely change the public transport landscape - with the potential to open a new tram extension within as little as seven years.
